Translate
Turn your voice into ready-to-send translations.
With Translate, your natural speech becomes a ready-to-send message, email, or post in your chosen language. Typeless adapts the phrasing to the purpose of your communication while preserving your energy and tone. The translation feels natural to local readers.
You can use Translate in any app on desktop and mobile. On both platforms, you can set multiple target languages in advance and switch to the one you need each time you use Translate.
Set up your target languages
Add the languages you translate into most often so you can switch between them whenever you use Translate.
On desktop
- Open Typeless, then click the Settings icon in the bottom-left corner.
- In the Language section, click the Edit icon next to Translation targets.
- Click Add another language, then choose a language from the list. Repeat to add more target languages.
- Drag a target language up or down to change the order.
On mobile
- Open Typeless, then tap Account.
- Go to Settings, then tap Translation targets.
- Tap Add another language, then choose a language from the list. Repeat to add more target languages.
- Drag a target language up or down to change the order.
Use Translate
On desktop
- Open any app and click the text field where you want to enter the translation.
- Press the keyboard shortcut for Translate once (default: Fn + Left Shift on macOS, Right Alt + Right Shift on Windows).
- When the Voice bar appears, move your cursor over the current language and choose your target language.
- Speak naturally in your own language. When you are done, press the main Typeless shortcut once (default: Fn on macOS, Right Alt on Windows).
- Your formatted, natural-sounding translation appears where you began.
On mobile
- Open any app and tap the text field where you want to enter the translation.
- Press and hold the Speak button on the Typeless keyboard, then swipe up and choose your target language.
- Speak naturally in your own language, then tap the Speak button when you are done.
- Your formatted, natural-sounding translation appears where you began.
