Typeless on desktop

Once you've downloaded and installed the Typeless app on your desktop, you're ready to go.

1. Click any text field

For Typeless to know where you want to dictate, your cursor must be in a textbox. This can be in any application on your computer – Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Docs, Notion, you name it. Just look for the flashing cursor.

2. Press your keyboard shortcut once (default: Fn on macOS, Right Alt on Windows)

Once you hear Typeless's interaction sound or see the voice bar appears, you can start dictating.

3. Speak freely

4. Press your keyboard shortcut again to see your formatted dictation

To finish dictating, press your keyboard shortcut again. Typeless inserts your dictation into the text field.
