What is Typeless?

Typeless is a new way to interact with your digital workspace – without typing. It lets you think, speak, and act faster by combining AI understanding with natural input. Use it to brainstorm, write, research, and organize – all without touching your keyboard.

How do I get early access to Typeless?

Currently, Typeless is available for:

macOS (Apple Silicon)
macOS(Apple Intel)
Windows and mobile versions are planned – stay tuned.

Do I need to install anything?

Yes. Once you’re accepted into the beta, you’ll receive a download link. Just follow the setup instructions.

Can I use Typeless in any app?

Yes. Typeless runs across your system. You can use it in:

Google Docs
Notion
Gmail
Slack
Chrome
Any text-based editor

It works wherever you work.

Why do we ask for these permissions

Accessibility access

We use Accessibility permissions to let Typeless insert text directly into wherever your cursor is — whether that’s Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Docs, Notion, or anywhere else. It also lets you trigger dictation with your Function (Fn) key, so you can start talking without switching apps or clicking buttons.

Microphone access

Typeless uses your microphone to capture your voice and convert it to text. This is essential for dictation to work.

Does Typeless work offline?

Core voice-to-action features work best with an internet connection. We’re actively working on local/offline support for common tasks.
